Working out of Switzerland, Anne and Giovanni flew half way across the world to unite their families, his from Italy and hers from South Africa. The union was made at the spectacular Cape Point Vineyards.
It started to drizzle during the ceremony but we quickly provided cover with umbrellas and parasols. Fortunately it was quite close to the end of the ceremony so it wasn’t long before we moved guests up to the heated deck.
The bride wore a gorgeous faux fur shawl to keep the chill at bay.
Instead of a baked wedding cake served late into the reception we decided instead on the cutting a beautiful cheese tower which the guests then got to enjoy as part of the canapes while photographs were being taken.
